Teater Albatross

Teater Albatross’ legendary summer festival at Tokalynga Theatre Academy in Gunnarp (Halland). A fireworks display of performing arts! From early morning to late at night. Inside the theater, by the lake, in the forest, up in the attic. The roof is blown off!

This year the festival is visited by for example:

Four Teater Albatross plays with sub-titles. About The Holocaust, the sea, the forests and the russian revolution! We’ve played these plays in countries like: DR Congo, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Greece, Denmark and Norway. The audiences seemed very pleased.

Shower and toilets are available in the theater building and community hall. Wifi available in the theater building

is a large, former school building a stone’s throw from the Ätran river. Here, Teater Albatross has been located since 1986, and the building now houses a theater stage, rehearsal rooms, studio, workshop, art corridor, large kitchen, sofas, basement, attic. Welcome to a place for art and creativity!

GETTING HERE:
The nearest train stations are in Falkenberg and Kinnared. The nearest bus station is in the town of Ätran. Closest airports CPH or GOT. We can pick you up by car from Kinnared train station or from Ätran.

To get from Falkenberg to Ätran:
Falkenberg > bus to Ullared > bus to Ätran.

is somewhat unusual as a theater in the countryside, 50 km from the nearest city. We create performances for adults, youth, and children, which we tour in Sweden and abroad. We have performed in 24 countries but always return to our base at Tokalynga Theatre Academy. We are international, regional, and super-local.
